"Sue Baby", as she was known to her friends and family, quietly ended her life’s journey on November 11, 2009. Carolyn Sue was born October 16, 1949 to loving parents, Iola and Wilmer Charles Murphy.
Memorial Service: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Guardian Memorial Chapel.
Shortly thereafter, the family made their home in Fort Worth. Carolyn Sue graduated from I.M. Terrell High School in 1967. She later took several courses at Tarrant County Junior College and University of Texas at Arlington.
“Sue Baby” was a "Jack of all trades" and had various occupations throughout her life. Carolyn Sue was a cashier, a short order cook, and the first female furniture finisher at a Sears Roebuck warehouse in Houston.
Her life may have ended quietly; however, she began life with a BANG and she was " All the way live" right up until the end. She did it her way. Carolyn Sue loved, laughed, danced, and sang without abandon.
One of the family's fondest memories of her was during the Christmas holiday season. She was a “Professional Dollar Store Shopper". She entered the premises loaded with an odd assortment of gifts. Everything from rapper chains, huge peppermint sticks, and extra noisy toys, the kids would be delighted!
" Sue Baby", your family will truly miss the good times and the bad times. “GO ON WITH YA BAD SELF!!!”
